Prepare e-mail messages offline
Every e-mail program will allow you to compose a message offline
Using AOL
- Open up AOL and then click on the [Write] button without signing on.
- Address and write your message, then click on [Send Later].
- Sign on and from the Mail menu, choose 'Mail Waiting to be Sent' and send the message(s).
Using Outlook Express (and others)
- Start the program, and OK the error message that will doubtless appear
- click on the [New] button.
- Write your message. Close it.
- Log onto your Internet service provider, open the program and click on the [Send/Receive] button.
In these days of unmetered connections, this tip might not save you any money, but it will give you the chance to reconsider a message typed in haste!
