Reverse mistakes

This week's tip caters for those 'senior moments' even the best of us have

Undo menu optionIt's happened to us all - you move a file from whichever folder it's in - and forget where you've just put it. You delete a file, moving it (effectively) to the Recycle Bin or you rename a file, and realise that you really shouldn't have.

Fret not! It's all undo-able. All you need to do is right click on the desktop, or in whichever window you committed the faux pas, and up will pop a menu. Click on 'Undo <mistake>' (where <mistake> is what you did wrong) or press <ctrl-Z> (hold down the CTRL key and tap 'z') and all will be as it was.

In an application, click on the <Edit> menu, and select 'Undo' for the same effect.

It's a simple as that!
